“Child Development and Participation in Urban Displacement” by DeCID Co-Investigators Riccardo Conti and Joana Dabaj, DeCID Researcher Giulia Galli, and DeCID Principal Investigator Dr Andrea Rigon, explores the topics of child development and participation in the context of urban displacement.
The project’s third thematic brief looks at the history of research and initiatives in the participation of children in urban design and explores the child-friendly approach, child-friendly cities and why it is particularly important to set up child friendly spaces in the context of crises. It concludes by looking at some of the benefits and challenges of working with child participation in the context of displacement.
