Aisha is a research fellow on the DeCID project and is researching the impacts of choosing local building materials in design-build projects with a focus on the health and socio-economic well-being of communities affected by mass displacement.
Aisha’s experience lies in architecture and urban development. She previously worked in Nigeria as an architect and management consultant in the development and public health sector, as well as in Dubai as an urban practitioner in the UAE’s urban regeneration and urban planning projects.
