Portrait of Isabel Madrazo de Otaduy

Isabel is from Mexico and has an international background with a Business Degree from Copenhagen Business School. At DeCID, she will be studying the role diversity plays within participatory design projects in contexts of displacement.

Prior to beginning her studies at UCL, she lived in different contexts where she worked as a volunteer in different human development efforts, such as in Chiapas, Mexico with Nataté and with the World Food Programme in Lebanon.

She believes in the importance of recognising the agency individuals have in making decisions over their future, no matter the situation they find themselves in.
